Terms of Use
Version 1 · Published 21 October 2026 · Effective 21 October 2026
These Terms are published as one page in two parts. Part A applies to everyone who uses meCove. Part B adds the terms for Professionals.
Part A — Terms for everyone
1. Who we are, and what these Terms are
meCove is run by LETS ATTUNE PRIVATE LIMITED ("LetsAttune", "we", "us"). Our CIN is U85499PN2026PTC260332. Our registered office is FL-C-903, S No 41/1/1, Amrutvel, Warje Malwadi, Warje, Pune City, Pune 411058, Maharashtra, India.
These Terms are the agreement between you and us when you use the meCove phone app. Please read them. They are written in plain English on purpose.
How you agree. When you sign up, the app shows you a line with links to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. You also tick a box to confirm you are 18 or older. When you continue, you agree to these Terms. We record which version you agreed to, and when.
If you do not agree, please do not use meCove.
2. What meCove is
meCove is a private place to write down your thoughts and reflect on them. You write entries. meCove replies to what you write, and over time it shows you themes that run through your writing.
You can use meCove on your own. You can also use it alongside a Professional — a counsellor, therapist, psychologist or coach — who invites you. If you do, you can choose to send them a summary of your writing, called a Session Bridge. Your Professional never sees your entries unless you send them a Session Bridge. Section 6 says more.
3. What meCove is not
Please read this section carefully.
- meCove is not an emergency service. It is not watched for emergencies. Nobody at LetsAttune reads what you write.
- meCove cannot call anyone and cannot send help. It does not tell anyone what you write — not the police, not your Professional, not us.
- meCove is not therapy, counselling, medical care, or treatment. It does not diagnose you. It does not assess you. It does not give medical, psychological, legal or financial advice.
- meCove's replies come from a computer program (an AI model), not a person. They can be wrong, incomplete, or miss what you meant. Please do not rely on them to make important decisions.
- meCove does not replace care you are already getting. If you see a doctor, counsellor or therapist, keep doing so. Using meCove does not change or pause that care.
- If you work with a Professional, they are not part of meCove. They are independent. Section 6 explains.
4. If you are in danger
If you are in danger right now, call 112. For someone to talk to, call Tele-MANAS on 14416 or KIRAN on 1800-599-0019.
Here is exactly what meCove does, and no more.
- When something you write suggests you may want to harm yourself, or that someone is hurting or frightening you, meCove shows a fixed message. A person wrote it in advance. No AI writes it. It says that nothing you write goes to anyone, and it gives helpline numbers. If you tap "I understand, I'll reach out for help", meCove then says plainly that it cannot call anyone or send help, and that these are the people who can.
- meCove shows that message once. If you go on writing about the same thing, it does not repeat the message on every entry that follows.
- Sometimes meCove is less sure. Then it replies as usual and shows a small link to a screen of helpline numbers you can tap to call.
- meCove does not contact anyone. It does not alert your Professional, your family, the police, or us. Nobody is told.
- meCove can get this wrong, both ways. It may miss something serious. It may also show the message when you did not mean anything like that. If it misread you, you can tap "My message was misread — I'm safe" under the message; meCove then says it is here and that you can keep writing, as much as you want. Under the message there is also a button, "I understand, I'll reach out for help".
- Please do not use meCove to ask for help in an emergency. If you or someone else is in danger, call 112, or go to someone who can be with you in person.
5. Who can use meCove
- You must be 18 or older. You confirm this when you sign up. If we learn that someone under 18 has an account, we may close it.
- meCove is offered in India.
- You must be able to enter into a binding agreement under Indian law.
- Your account is for you alone. Do not let anyone else use it, and do not sign up for someone else.
6. Working with a Professional
- How it starts. A Professional sends you an invitation. You choose whether to accept. You can also ask us to help you connect with a Professional; if we do, we only make an introduction. We do not recommend or vouch for anyone.
- One at a time. For now, you can be in one Professional's list at a time.
- What they can see. Your Professional sees only the Session Bridges you choose to send them, and some simple facts — for example, whether you joined and whether you wrote on a given day, never what you wrote. Before you send a Session Bridge, you see exactly what will go, and you can remove any line. You can take back a Session Bridge at any time. The Privacy Policy, section 6, gives the full list.
- What they can send you. Your Professional may send you short notes (we call them nudges) and set things for meCove to ask you about. They also keep private notes about you, which you do not see.
- Seats. Some features — such as Session Bridges and notes from your Professional — work only while your Professional has given you a seat. A seat is something your Professional manages, not you. If your seat ends, the app tells you. You keep all your own writing and every Session Bridge you made.
- Leaving. You can leave your Professional's list at any time from the app. You keep everything you wrote.
- Your Professional is independent. They are not our employee or our agent. We check some of their details before they can use meCove — for example, for psychologists and therapists, a registration number. We do not supervise their work, and we are not responsible for their advice, their decisions, or what they do with what you send them outside meCove. Any arrangement between you and them, including any fee for sessions, is between you and them.
7. Cost, and limits on use
- meCove costs Clients nothing. We do not charge you, and there is nothing to buy in the app.
- There is a daily limit on meCove's replies. It is higher while you are on a Professional's seat. When you reach it, you can keep writing and everything you write is saved, but meCove does not reply until the next day. We set the limit to keep meCove running well, and we may change it.
- Languages. You can write in any language. meCove replies in English. When it quotes you, it keeps your own words in your own language. We cannot promise meCove reads every language correctly.
8. What you write belongs to you
- Your entries are yours. We do not own them.
- So that meCove can work, you allow us to store what you write, to have it read by the AI models we use, and to make things from it for you — replies, themes, and Session Bridges you ask for. This permission is only for running meCove for you. It ends when your data is destroyed after you delete your account (see the Privacy Policy, sections 9 and 10).
- We do not publish what you write, even if you ask us to. We do not use it for advertising.
- We do not use your writing to train AI models. The Privacy Policy, sections 5 and 7, explains who processes it for us.
- What meCove writes back — replies, themes, summaries — is made for you to use. You may keep and use it as you wish.
- The meCove app, its design, its name and its logo belong to LetsAttune. These Terms do not give you any right to them, other than to use the app.
9. Using meCove properly
Please do not:
- use meCove to break any Indian law;
- try to get into anyone else's account, or into parts of meCove you are not meant to reach;
- try to break, overload, copy or take apart the app or our systems;
- use automated tools to send entries;
- use meCove to harass, threaten or harm anyone;
- pretend to be someone else when you sign up.
meCove is a private space, and you may write about hard things, including things that are distressing or painful. That is allowed. Writing about something is not the same as doing it.
meCove may decline to reply to some content — for example, sexually explicit writing. It still keeps what you wrote, like any other entry.
10. Keeping your account safe
- You sign in with your mobile number and a code we send you on WhatsApp.
- Anyone who can open your phone and the app can read what you have written. Please keep your phone locked.
- If you lose your phone, or think someone else has used your account, write to us at hello@mecove.com.
11. Your privacy
How we collect, use, store and protect your personal data is in the meCove Privacy Policy, at mecove.com/privacy. It is part of what you agree to when you sign up. It explains, among other things:
- who can see what (section 6);
- who processes data for us, including the AI provider (section 7);
- where your data is stored, and when it leaves India (section 8);
- how long we keep it, and how deletion works (sections 9 and 10);
- your rights, and how to use them (section 12).
If anything in these Terms seems to disagree with the Privacy Policy about your data, the Privacy Policy applies.
12. When meCove is unavailable, or changes
- We work hard to keep meCove running, but we cannot promise it will always be available, or free of errors. It may sometimes be slow, down, or not reply.
- If you write with no signal, the app keeps your entry on your phone and sends it when you are back online.
- We may change meCove — add, change or remove features — as we improve it. If we remove something important to you, we will try to tell you first.
- We may stop offering meCove. If we do, we will tell you at least 60 days in advance, so you have time to download what you have written.
13. Ending your use of meCove
- You can stop at any time. You can delete your account in the app, in Settings. What happens to your data then is in the Privacy Policy, section 10.
- We may suspend or close your account if you seriously or repeatedly break these Terms, if the law requires it, or to protect you, other people, or meCove. Where it is safe and lawful, we will tell you why and give you a chance to respond.
- If your account is closed, sections 8 (the parts about what we may not do with your writing), 14, 15 and 17 still apply.
14. Our responsibility to you, and its limits
- We provide meCove "as is" and "as available". We do not promise that meCove will suit any particular purpose, that it will be accurate, or that it will notice anything you write.
- We are not responsible for:
- decisions you make based on meCove's replies or summaries;
- meCove missing something you wrote, or reading something wrongly, including writing that suggests danger;
- what your Professional does or advises;
- copies of your writing that you download, share, or send to someone outside meCove;
- delays or failures caused by things outside our reasonable control, such as power or network failures, or the services of other companies;
- indirect losses, such as loss of income or opportunity.
- If we are responsible to you for anything, our total responsibility is limited to ₹5,000.
- Nothing in these Terms limits any responsibility that Indian law does not allow us to limit.
The old beta terms excluded liability for "emotional or psychological harm" and "failure to detect emergencies" in general words. We have not carried that over word for word. We say instead exactly what meCove does (section 4) and that it may miss things.
15. If you cause us a loss
If you break these Terms on purpose or break the law while using meCove, and that causes a claim against us, you agree to make good our reasonable losses from it.
16. Changes to these Terms
- When we change these Terms, we publish a new dated version. Every earlier version stays online at its own address, so you can always read what you agreed to.
- If a change matters to you, we will ask you to accept the new version in the app before you continue.
- If you do not accept a new version, you can delete your account.
17. The law that applies, and disputes
- These Terms are governed by the laws of India.
- If there is a disagreement, please write to us first (section 18). Most problems can be solved that way.
- If it is not solved, the courts in Pune, Maharashtra, have exclusive jurisdiction.
18. Contact, and our Grievance Officer
- Anything about meCove: hello@mecove.com
- Complaints, including about these Terms or about your data: our Grievance Officer, Santosh Jahagirdar, LETS ATTUNE PRIVATE LIMITED, at hello@letsattune.com. We will resolve your complaint within one month of receiving it. You can also raise a grievance in the app, in Settings, under Make a request.
These addresses are not watched for emergencies. If you are in danger, call 112.
19. Other legal points
- If a court finds part of these Terms cannot be enforced, the rest still applies.
- If we do not enforce a part of these Terms straight away, we can still enforce it later.
- You may not transfer your rights under these Terms to anyone else. We may transfer ours to another company that takes over meCove, as long as your rights are not reduced; we will tell you if that happens.
- These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between you and us about meCove.
Part B — Professional Terms
1. About these Terms
meCove is run by LETS ATTUNE PRIVATE LIMITED ("LetsAttune", "we", "us"), CIN U85499PN2026PTC260332, registered office FL-C-903, S No 41/1/1, Amrutvel, Warje Malwadi, Warje, Pune City, Pune 411058, Maharashtra, India.
These Professional Terms apply to you if you use the meCove web app as a Professional. They add to the meCove Terms of Use, which also apply to you. How we handle personal data — yours and your Clients' — is in the meCove Privacy Policy.
How you agree. When you submit your application, the screen shows a line with links to the Terms and the Privacy Policy, and you tick a box to confirm you are 18 or older. Submitting is your agreement. We record which version you agreed to, and when.
2. What meCove does for you, and what it does not
- meCove lets your Clients write and reflect between your sessions. If a Client chooses, they can send you a Session Bridge — a summary of a period of their writing, with lines they chose to keep. You can set a focus area and action items, send short notes (nudges), and keep private notes.
- You never see a Client's entries. You see only the Session Bridges they choose to send, and only while they are on one of your seats. They can take one back at any time.
- meCove does not monitor your Clients for you. If a Client writes something that suggests danger, meCove shows them a fixed message with helpline numbers. It does not tell you, or anyone else. Please do not rely on meCove to tell you that a Client is at risk, and do not tell your Clients that it will.
- meCove is not a clinical record system. Your private notes are working notes, not a record. They are removed if the Client deletes their meCove account, or if you erase yours, and they cannot be recovered. Keep your own records in the way your profession requires.
- meCove's summaries are made by AI. They can be wrong or incomplete. Use your own professional judgement, and check with your Client.
3. Applying, and approval
- You must be 18 or older, and able to enter into a binding agreement under Indian law.
- You must give us true and complete details about your practice: the type of practice, your education, certifications and experience, and a supporting document.
- If you call yourself a psychologist or a therapist, you must also give your professional registration number. We check it before we approve you. Counsellors and coaches are not asked for one; what they tell us is their own declaration.
- We decide whether to approve an application. We may ask for another document. We may turn an application down. If we turn it down and you do not apply again, we delete your document and registration numbers 90 days after our decision (the Privacy Policy, section 9, has details).
- Approval means we have checked what we reasonably could. It is not a certificate, a recommendation, or a guarantee of your qualifications to anyone. Please do not present it as one.
- Tell us promptly if anything you gave us changes — especially if your registration lapses, is suspended or is cancelled.
4. Your practice is yours
- You are independent. You are not our employee, agent or partner. We do not supervise your work. Nothing in these Terms makes us part of your relationship with your Clients.
- You are responsible for your professional services: your advice, your decisions, your fees, your standards, and following the rules of your profession and the law.
- Any fee between you and your Client is between you and them. We take no part in it.
- Describing meCove. When you talk to Clients about meCove, please describe it as it is: a private writing and reflection app. Do not describe it as therapy, treatment, assessment, a medical service, or an emergency or monitoring service, and do not say it is "clinically proven".
5. Inviting people
- When you invite someone, you give us their name, their mobile number, and if you wish their email. We use these only to send the invitation. The invitation names you.
- Only invite people who have agreed to hear from you through meCove, and only with their correct details.
- An invitation lasts 7 days, and resending it gives another 7 days. The person chooses whether to accept. For now, a Client can be in only one Professional's list at a time, so someone already in another list must leave it before they can accept yours.
- If someone does not join, their details stay in your list as expired or declined for 90 days, and are then deleted.
6. Your Clients' information
- Keep what you see confidential. Use what a Client sends you only to work with that Client.
- Once you take something out of meCove — by copying it, saving it, printing it or writing it down — you are responsible for it, under your professional duties and the law. We cannot protect it there.
- What you write about a Client inside meCove — focus areas, action items, nudges, private notes — is also that Client's personal data. Keep it professional and relevant. Do not write anything in a nudge you would not want the Client to read, because they will.
- Do not try to see more than meCove shows you, or to find out what a Client wrote but did not send.
7. Seats
A seat is what lets you work with a Client fully in meCove. A Client in your list can be on a seat or not on a seat.
7.1 What a seat gives
- While a Client is on one of your seats, they can make and send you Session Bridges, and you can send them nudges and action items. Their daily writing limit is also higher.
- Without a seat, a Client can stay in your list. You cannot read their Session Bridges (they are hidden from you, not deleted, and come back if you seat them again). You can send them only one fixed reminder to write — at most twice while they have no seat, at least a week apart. You can still keep, edit and delete your own private note about them.
- Your list can hold up to 300 people at a time (invited plus in the list; past members do not count).
7.2 Your free seat
- Every approved account gets one seat free of charge, for as long as the account stays approved. It is given automatically when we approve you.
- One free seat per account. If your account is deactivated and later approved again, the free seat comes back.
7.3 Giving a seat
- You can give a seat with an invitation, or later to someone already in your list. A seat given with an invitation is kept for that person while the invitation is open. If the invitation is withdrawn, declined or runs out, the seat comes back to you.
- When a Client accepts, they are on the seat at once. Every clock below starts when the seat is given — or, for a seat given with an invitation, when the Client accepts.
7.4 The first 24 hours: taking a seat back freely
- Until a seat is used, or for 24 hours, whichever comes first, you can take it back with no effect on you. We can see how often this happens.
- A seat is used when you send that Client a nudge or an action item, or when the Client makes or sends a Session Bridge or asks for Myself, Lately, or writes more than the daily limit for Clients without a seat.
7.5 The 30-day hold
- Once a seat is used, or 24 hours have passed, it stays with that Client until 30 days after it was given. You cannot take it back or give it to someone else during that time, except through an early release (7.6).
- This applies even if the Client leaves your list, deletes their meCove account, or you remove them. In those cases the seat is held until the 30 days end. A held seat counts as used, and gives nothing to anyone.
- After the 30 days, you can end the seat at any time. The Client stays in your list without a seat.
- Why: a seat is a monthly unit. The hold stops one seat being passed round several people within the same month.
7.6 Early release, and support
- Once each calendar month (India time), you can end one held or locked seat early yourself, without giving a reason.
- For any more in the same month, write to us at hello@mecove.com. We decide, and we record the reason.
- We can see how many early releases you use.
7.7 When a seat ends
- The Client is told in the app that their seat with you has ended. The message never says who ended it.
- Your scheduled nudges to them are cancelled. Open action items are frozen for both of you. Their Session Bridges are hidden from you, not deleted. All of this comes back if you seat the same Client again.
- The Client keeps everything they wrote.
7.8 What we can see
To run seats and help you, our small admin team can see your seats, their dates and states, and which people are on them, by the name you typed when you invited them. We never see your Clients' writing.
7.9 Buying more seats — FOR LATER, not in force at launch
At launch, no seats are sold. Every Professional has only the free seat. When we start selling seats, we will publish new Terms first and ask you to accept them. We expect them to cover:
- seats bought per seat, per month, paid outside the app;
- a "paid until" date on every bought seat, shown to you;
- that nothing ends automatically when a date passes — we will talk to you first;
- that if a bought seat is not paid for, we may end it after talking to you, and where all your seats are in use, choose with you which Client's seat ends, even inside the 30-day hold;
- prices, invoices and taxes (including GST), and refunds.
8. Deactivation, and erasing your account
8.1 If we deactivate your account
- We may deactivate your account if: your details or registration turn out to be false, out of date or no longer valid; you seriously or repeatedly break these Terms; we reasonably believe your use of meCove puts a Client at risk; or the law requires it.
- Deactivation ends every seat and every place in your list. Clients on a seat are told their seat has ended. Your open invitations are cancelled. Any bought seats end too.
- You can ask us to look at your account again by writing to hello@mecove.com. We will review what has changed before we decide.
- If we approve you again, your free seat comes back, and so do the Clients your deactivation removed — in your list, without a seat — unless they have since joined another Professional's list. Invitations do not come back.
8.2 If you erase your account
- You can erase your account at any time, in Settings, even if Clients are in your list or on your seats.
- It ends every seat and every place in your list. Each Client on a seat is told their seat has ended.
- Your private notes are removed. Keep your own records first.
- Your name stays on your former Clients' records, so their history still makes sense to them.
- What happens to your data then is in the Privacy Policy, sections 9 and 10.
9. What you promise us
You promise that:
- everything you told us when you applied is true, and you will keep it up to date;
- you hold the qualifications, registration and any licence your practice needs;
- you will follow these Terms, the rules of your profession, and the law, including laws on confidentiality and personal data;
- you have the agreement of each person you invite to be invited.
10. Our responsibility to you, and its limits
- We provide meCove "as is" and "as available". We do not promise it will always be available, free of errors, or right in what its AI writes.
- We are not responsible for: your professional services or advice; what your Clients write, do or decide; meCove's AI missing or misreading something; notes or records lost because a Client deleted their account or you erased yours; anything you take out of meCove; or indirect losses such as loss of income, business or reputation.
- Our total responsibility to you is limited to the greater of: the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, and ₹5,000.
- Nothing in these Terms limits any responsibility that Indian law does not allow us to limit.
11. If you cause us a loss
You agree to make good our reasonable losses from any claim against us that arises from: your professional services; your breaking these Terms, your professional rules, or the law; false details you gave us; or how you handled Client information outside meCove.
12. Changes, law and contact
- Changes. When we change these Terms, we publish a new dated version and keep every earlier version online. If a change matters to you, we will ask you to accept it before you continue.
- Law and courts. These Terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts in Pune, Maharashtra, have exclusive jurisdiction.
- Support: hello@mecove.com. Complaints: our Grievance Officer, Santosh Jahagirdar, at hello@letsattune.com.
- The rest of the meCove Terms of Use — including acceptable use, availability, and the other legal points — also applies to you.
